Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Our programs cultivate a culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of connectedness to one another and the natural world. We continually build on this commitment to ensure all children, families, and staff are welcomed and supported regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and economic background. We actively work to ensure programs reflect the diversity of local communities in the faces, voices, and experiences we offer.

The work of inclusion is a collective responsibility, one that is essential to our vision of "nature-based education, outdoor learning, and play for all."

If you are looking for ways to talk about diversity, inclusion, and social justice with your child, here is a wonderful children's book list.

Another aspect of our commitment to social justice is our land acknowledgement which you can review here.

We work closely with children and families to ensure the greatest possible accessibility to our programs. If your child has a diverse ability and you are wondering about supports for forest preschool or if you need financial aid to attend, please let us know.
